Not long ago I too want to leave my day job that brought me no joy. I had no clue how to work from home as a writer. But I learned the hard way and it’s been an amazing journey. I’m cutting through all that noise to help you start the freelance writing career of your dreams. I want to make sure you avoid the mistakes I made on my quest to become a freelance writer.
Well, that’s a smart question! If you’re so lost that you don’t even know what first step to take, to start freelance writing, this book is for you. If you’re frozen and overwhelmed by all the information out there and just want a clear path to getting started, this eBook is for you. Freelance Writing for Beginners: The Basics is also for the person who doesn’t have hours or days to scour the internet and piece all of the free information together. You want a step by step guide to get you writing faster so you can divorce your boss sooner.
Obviously, the critical element here is you. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink. I can give you all the information in the world, but if you don’t implement what you learn, you’re not going to get very far. Implementation is key, and my process is easy to do. This process will help you make progress towards your dream of becoming a freelance writer and give you the info you need to succeed.
Honestly, you can pick a niche, find a domain name, create a website, and all of your social media accounts in one afternoon or evening. Applying for jobs and pitching to new clients is going to take longer. But the more pitches you make and the more jobs you apply for, the faster you’ll get clients. But you can get started with basics in just a few hours.
Lord, let me tell you. I had the same attitude (and budget) when I started. I wasted MONTHS figuring all of this stuff out when if I had an affordable resource that would give me the short cut to making money faster, I would have started writing much sooner. That means I could have started working from home full-time sooner, reducing my commute to from the bed to the coffee pot (for real).
